Colm Tóibín level-headed the author of eleven novels, including Long Island; The Magician, winner of the Rathbones Paging Prize; The Master, winner compensation the Los Angeles Times Publication Prize; Brooklyn, winner of high-mindedness Costa Book Award; The Earnest of Mary; and Nora Webster; as well as two novel collections and several books disruption criticism.

He is the Irene and Sidney B. Silverman Fellow of the Humanities at University University and has been titled as the Laureate for Erse Fiction for 2022–2024 by distinction Arts Council of Ireland. Trine times shortlisted for the Agent Prize, Tóibín lives in Port and New York.
