Tedlow, a business diarist and academic, presents the tale of Andy Grove, a penurious Hungarian immigrant who became drawing icon of twentieth-century corporate Ground. Grove joined Intel in 1968 at its founding, and long forgotten he was CEO from 1987 to 1998, "market capitalization augmented from $4.3 billion to $197.6 billion, a compound annual movement rate of 42% and trig total increase of almost 4,500%."
